Guatemala Luxury Vacation Rentals
Guatemala Luxury Vacation Rentals Website
Faris and I first came across Guatemala Luxury Vacation Rentals when we were scrolling through the Lake Atitlan accommodations on AirB&B. They had many properties which fit our group size of 6 people. Usually when we go on a trip we do not stay in luxury housing but the price, amenities, and pictures just drew us in!
Faris messaged David, the owner of the properties, and he sent us the Guatemala Luxury Vacation Rentals Website. The website had even more properties and details on the homes.
We really like the variety of rentals they have to offer. They have smaller homes for smaller groups, or massive homes for bigger groups. They have homes on the water or further back with pools. Some even had saunas and hot tubs. Each home is unique in it’s own way, and the prices are always reflective of that
Costs – Luxury Rentals Lake Atitlan
Guatemala Luxury Vacation Rentals have 13 rental properties to chose from. Each home is unique in it’s own way. Some are small 1 bedroom cottages which sleep 2 while others are mansions and can sleep 12. Each home is priced differently and they range from $95 a night to $625 a night.
During our Guatemala Vacation we stayed in two different rentals. The first was Casa Nahuales which is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage, and sleeps 6 people at $195 a night.
The second home we stayed in was Casa Colibri, which has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths and sleeps 12 people at $395 a night. I will go more into detail on Casa Nahuales and Colibri below.
Book With A Group
Now to make these rentals even more affordable I recommend booking with a decent sized group so you can split the costs. Faris and I traveled with four others so we were able to afford these homes.
Complimentary Concierge Service – Luxury Rentals Lake Atitlan
All of the luxury homes come with complimentary concierge and cleaning service. You can request a fridge fully stocked with groceries and beverages or the concierge can arrange a private cook.
The concierge will help with any of the pools, bonfire pits, saunas etc. The concierge can book additional services like boat tours and excursions listed below. Not to mention David, the owner, is always available for questions or help!
Additional Services Offered at Accommodations – Luxury Rentals Lake Atitlan
All Guatemala Luxury Vacation Rentals come with a variety of offered services at an extra cost. Now you can get these excursions outside your accommodations for a cheaper price. Faris booked all of our extras through the rental property because it was easy and there was no language barrier.
We did the personal chef option every day on Lake Atitlan for breakfast and dinner. We also visited the large market at Chichicastenango and did a boat tour, which visited a few of the neighboring Mayan villages!
Private Chef Options – Luxury Rentals Lake Atitlan
All Guatemala Luxury Vacation Rentals come with complimentary concierge service along with optional private chef options for an additional cost. Each meal you purchase comes to about about $10 per person.
We did breakfast and dinner every day at our rentals and they were phenomenal. The breakfasts were very good but the dinners were outstanding. The fresh black bass and jocon were our favorites!
Recommended Home Rentals
Faris and I traveled with another 4 of our friends in April of 2019. We stayed in two different rental homes and I recommend both of them!
Casa Nahuales
Casa Nahuales is located in San Antonio Palopo. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, a full kitchen, living room and a beautiful deck with a hot tub!
This place is just absolutely stunning! You can find Casa Nahuales on AirB&B , but I recommend just booking through their website because it is cheaper. Casa Nahuales will only cost you $195 a night.
The best part of this home is the awesome deck and the hottub for night time. The lake actually isn’t the cleanest spot so we recommend getting a place with a hottub or pool!
Casa Colibri
Casa Colibri is located in Santa Catarina Palopa. It has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, and can sleep 12. Honestly, there is so much room that it could sleep even more!
I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s so luxury and beautiful. Honestly we didn’t leave this place for the last two days because it had everything we needed. A pool, sauna, ping pong, games, private chefs, anything you could ask for!
You can find Casa Colibri on AirB&B, but I recommend just booking through their website because it is cheaper. Casa Colibri will only cost you $395 a night.
Affordable Luxury Rentals Lake Atitlan – Vacation Homes Conclusion
Lake Atitlan is a beautiful place and what better way to enjoy these views than to stay in luxury housing. It’s not every day you can afford concierge and a private chef so why not take advantage of the favorable exchange rate?!
